A

Ron Arad – Model Raviolo

Ron Arad is an Israeli designer born in the early 1950s. His work as a designer began to be recognized from the 1980s. He studied architecture in London but it was in Italy that he discovered his passion for design.

His work is characterized by the search for pure forms and his taste for curves. These works are similar in this sense to a work of sculpture.

Miki Astori – Model Kissi kissi

He was born in Italy in 1965 and started working with Antonia Astori as an interior designer. Shortly after, he moved to Paris in 1992 to collaborate with Philippe Starck.

His many travels in South Asia have led him to develop products that combine ancient traditions and Eastern suggestions with Western industrial techniques.

Luisa Battaglia – Models Igloo, Verso, Hapi, Day up

Born in Italy in 1963 and graduated in architecture, Luisa Battaglia chose to work in the family business in 1990 when she was still very young. She became artistic director in 2018. She brings her sense of talent search and her intuition to choose the designers to work with, guiding them every step of the way.

Eric Berthes – Model Tambar

After a stint at the Boulle School, Eric Berthes created his Studio, Planet Design in 2000. Whether through the development of objects for major champagne brands or the design of spaces (VIP space at the Theater in Bordeaux, La Terrasse at the Raphaël hotel), Eric demonstrates constantly renewed creativity.

Alessandro Busana – Model + air

Born in Italy, Alessandro Busana received his industrial design diploma in 1999 from Scuola Italiana Design. He then continued to specialize by participating in workshops for different brands.

Since 2004, he has been designing products by highlighting their functionality. In 2007, he joined the Joe Velluto group where he worked on the theme "products and space". In 2009, he founded his design studio. Through it, he creates products for international brands.

Flemming Busk et Stephan B. Hertzog – Models Hello, Delphe, Pegaze, Ypsilon

Flemming Busk and Stephan Hertzog established their studio in Denmark in 2000. From success to success, they became the most awarded Danish designers of their generation. Their work is characterized by sculptural, clean lines, with a minimum of frills. They draw their inspiration from the simplicity of nature.

Antonio Citterio – Model Spoon

Antonio Citterio was born in 1950, in Italy. He founded his studio in 1972 and graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1975. Between 1987 and 1996, he collaborated with Terry Dawn with whom he designed numerous buildings in Europe and Japan. In 2000, he founded with Patricia Viel an agency with a 360° vision of the work of a designer (architecture, industrial design and graphic design). Antonio Citterio works with brands such as B&B Italia, Hermès, Kartell and Vitra.

Susanne Gronlund – Model Aiko

After training in design in Denmark, Susanne Grønlund founded her own studio in 1991 in which she developed a wide range of products (textiles, toys, lighting, furniture, etc.). Its style is simple and refers to the tradition of Scandinavian design but incorporating a contemporary touch.

Odo Fioravanti – Model Mars

Odoardo Fioravanti graduated from the Polytechnic School of Milan. After exhibiting his work in various international exhibitions, he achieved worldwide fame in 2010 with a solo exhibition titled "Industrious Design" at the Milan Triennial Design Museum. In 2011 he won the Compasso d’Oro prize with his bentwood chair Frida designed for the Pedrali brand. In 2003 he founded his studio, the Odoardo Fioravanti Design Studio. There he develops projects for many brands such as Normann Copenhagen or Pedrali.

Naoto Fukasawa – Model Koishi

Naoto Fukasawa is a designer born in 1956 in Japan. He graduated in fine arts in 1980. In 2003, he founded his own agency, Naoto Fukasawa Design. He has worked for notorious Italian companies like B&B Italia, Driade or Magis and has won more than fifty awards. Recognized as one of the most influential designers of his time, he also teaches design in Japan.

S.Giovannoni – Model First

Stefano Giovannoni is an Italian designer born in 1954 in Italy. He graduated in architecture from the University of Florence in 1978. He subsequently collaborated with Ettore Sottsass. He has notably worked for Alessi (for whom he designed the design of Siemens mobile phones), Magis and Nestlé.

Konstantin Grcic – Models One, Miura

Konstantin Grcic, was born in 1965 in Munich, Germany. After training in furniture making in England, he studied design at the Royal College of Art in London from 1988 to 1990. It was there that he met Jasper Morrison and Vico Magistretti. He joined, after his studies, the studio of Jasper Morrison. In 1991, he founded his studio, KGID, which works for design publishers such as Magis, for example, as well as for manufacturers such as Krups or Whirlpool.

Thomas Heatherwick – Model Spun

Thomas Heatherwick was born in 1970. He is recognized for his innovative use of engineering and materials in public sculptures and monuments. Since 1994 he has been the head of Heatherwick Studio. He is at the origin of the B of the Bang.

Simon Legald – Model Onkel

Simon Legald is a young Danish designer born in 1986. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His work was recognized very early on since Normann Copenhagen decided to market his Sumo pouf while he was still a student. Whether on small productions or on mass productions, his work always refers to craftsmanship.

Marco Maran – Model Lovely

Marco Maran was born in 1963 in Italy. After studying fine arts, he became interested in architecture. He has collaborated with prestigious brands like Caprini or Knoll. In 1996 he was elected best young designer at the Young & Design fair in Milan.

Simone Micheli – Model Jelly

Simone Micheli was born in 1964 in Italy. He founded his Studio in 1990. In addition to his activities as a designer, he is also a professor at Poli Design and at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan. His work is characterized by a concern for ecology and issues related to industrial production.

Philippe Nigro – Model Canisse

Philippe Nigro is a French designer born in Nice. He studied Applied Arts and Product Design. He started his career alongside Michele De Lucchi. With it, he was able to demonstrate the extent of his multidisciplinary talent (product, furniture, lighting, interior architecture, events, etc.).

Andreas Oswald – Model Next

Andreas Oswald was born in 1964 in Germany. He runs his own design studio in Hamburg where he works in multiple areas (interior decoration, product design, corporate design…). He has worked notably with Deutsche Telekom, Motorola, Osram and Infiniti.

Jorge Pensi – Model Ara

He was born in Argentina in 1946. After studying architecture, in 1971 he began to work on furniture projects. In 1977 he moved to Barcelona where he founded the "Berenguer Group" with designer Alberto Liévore. He works as a designer and architect for international companies and at the same time carries out a teaching activity in different schools.

Pool – Model Grid

Pool is a studio based in Paris. This was founded by the duo Léa Padovani and Sébastien Kieffer. Multidisciplinary talents, they combine design, graphics, artistic direction and interior design in their creations. With several awards, they have developed in the design of furniture for major international publishers, in scenography and in development projects.

Radice & Orlandini – Model Picapau

Graduated respectively in industrial design and architecture, they meet on the benches of the Polytechnic of Milan. It was in 2008 that they began their collaboration in the design and creation of products for furniture companies, such as Domitalia, Infiniti, Et al.

Andrea Radice, born in Italy in 1979. He joined the LUCCI & ORLANDINI firm after his studies. In 2006, he joined the firm of Rodolfo Dordon. In 2007, he joined the McKimm firm where he was a client of Nikon, Fiat or BMW.

Folco Orlandini, he was born in Italy in 1972. In 1999 he created a concept car for Alfa Romeo. Since the beginning of the 2000s, he has worked in the LUCCI & ORLANDINI firm.

Roberto Romanello – Model Delta

Born in 1958 in Italy, he graduated in 1985 from the University of Architecture in Venice. Artist keen on figurative and plastic art, he extended his creation to graphics and design disciplines. His creations reveal in-depth technological know-how.

Donatella Santangelo / Studio Thesia Progetti – Models Dodo, Nana

First an architecture and engineering studio in the 1970s, Thesia gained recognition in the field of design from 1989 with its Moon coffee table produced by Cattelan Italia. It has since become a multidisciplinary studio.

Philippe Starck / Mademoiselle – Models Dr Yes, Master, Hicut, Top top

Philippe Starck, was born in Paris in 1949. He is a creator in the broad sense of the term. Indeed, he officiates among others in industrial design, architecture, household appliances, clothing. It has been recognized internationally since the 1980s.

Philippe Starck & Eugeni Quitllet – Model Magic hole

Eugeni Quitllet was born in Spain in 1972. Graduated from the "La Llotja" School of Art and Design in 1996, he began by making arrangements for Spanish cultural organizations. In 2001, he met Philippe Starck with whom he began a collaboration which would lead to many projects.

Benoit Tillet – Model Homere

French designer, he holds a dual training in Mechanical & Productive Engineering and a master’s degree in product / graphic design and innovation management at Strate College (92). Multiple and varied skills (project development, design thinking, graphics, design and 3d rendering) allow him to design successful projects both in terms of design and industry.

Marcel Wanders – Model Cyborg

Marcel Wanders was born 1963 in the Netherlands. Graduated from the Arnhem Art School in 1988, from 1990 he joined one of the most prestigious design studios in the Netherlands, the Landmark Design & Consultancy. He is one of the four founders of WAAC’s Design & Consultancies studio. His work began to be recognized with the creation of the Knotted Chair in 1996. In early 2000, he created the Moooi company.

Hee Welling – Model About a chair

Hee Welling was born in 1974 in Denmark. He obtained a master’s degree in furniture design in 2003. The same year, he created his studio which officiates in the fields of interior furniture and industrial design. He collaborates in particular with HAY, Laufen and Lapalma. During his career, he received numerous prizes for his work (the BoBedre design award, the Good Design award, the Danish Art Foundation) and was named designer of the year in 2013 and 2014 in Denmark. He is in the Top 200 of the most popular designers and architects.

Marcello Ziliani – Model Tiffany

Marcello Ziliani was born in Italy in 1963. He graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1988. After 3 years abroad, he returned to Italy where he devoted himself to design. His talents are also exercised through theatrical choreography or artistic direction. Since 2011 he has been teaching product design in San Marino.
