The Paris Air Show at Le Bourget

The creation of the "Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace de Paris" dates from 1909. Today it is the most important event in the world dedicated to the aeronautics and space industry. However, this great meeting of professionals and enthusiasts of aeronautics will not take place this year.

Indeed, due to the exceptional health context, the 54th edition is postponed to June 2023, to a date not yet fixed. This is the first time since its 18th session in 1949 that the air show will not be held on the scheduled date.

The press release from the organizers specifies this decision:

"The Board of Directors of SIAE, in agreement with the Board of GIFAS, has made this inescapable decision given the international health situation and the attendance that such a popular festival generates. This reasonable decision was taken unanimously by the SIAE Council, in the context of a crisis of unprecedented magnitude for the aeronautics and space industry."
